Tuesday, April 24, 2018 – Departure from NYC, MCO, WAS or LAX on an overnight flight
Wednesday, April 25 – Afternoon arrival to Ben Gurion Airport where you will be met by our representative and your guide. Travel to Jerusalem and stop at Mt. of Olives for a magnificent view of Jerusalem. Dinner and first overnight in Jerusalem.
Thursday, April 26 ‐ Visit the Yad Vashem Memorial (Holocaust Museum) and adjacent Mt. Herzl. Continue to the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament – for an official tour. Visit the City of David archaeological site and a bit of Judea. Dinner followed by the Sound and light show. Second overnight in Jerusalem.
Friday, April 27 ‐ Tour the Old City: the Western Wall and Western Wall tunnels, Pool of Bethesda, Upper Room, Caiaphas House, Cardo, Garden Tomb. Third overnight in Jerusalem.
Saturday, April 28 ‐ Travel South to Masada ascending to the top by cable car. We stop on the way at Qumran, the archaeological site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continuing to the lowest place on earth ‐ the Dead Sea, for a dip in the salty waters. Stop at Ein Gedi on the way back and we do not want to miss the camel ride! Return for dinner and last overnight in Jerusalem.
Sunday, April 29 – Check out from hotel and drive North passing the Inn of the Good Samaritan and Jericho and stopping to view St. George’s Monastery. On the way to Tiberias, we visit the archeological site of Beit Shean. Visit Tabgha before checking into the hotel for dinner and first overnight in the Galilee.
Monday, April 30 – After breakfast, drive up to the Golan Heights. Stop at the Valley of Tears, Banias Spring, Katzrin and back to the hotel. Second overnight in the Galilee.
Tuesday, May 1 ‐ Visit Yardenit Baptismal Site along the Jordan River. Continue to Chorazin, Mt of Beatitudes, visit Ginosar’s “Jesus Boat” museum and board a wooden tour boat on lake Kinneret. Continuing to visit Magdala. Return to hotel for dinner and last overnight in the Galilee.
Wednesday, May 2 – Early checkout from hotel and stopping at the Wedding Church in Biblical Cana. Continuing to Megiddo, an ancient Biblical city. Then on to Haifa and surrounding highlights. Continuing South to Tel Aviv. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.
Thursday, May 3 – Drive to Samaria to visit Biblical sites and friends from the settlements. Time permitting drive South to Sderot near Gaza. Visit the Black Arrow monument. Farewell dinner and last overnight in Tel Aviv.
Friday, May 4 – Transfer to airport for flights back to the USA. Arrival to USA.
